Electrolyte Content:
The American College of Sports Medicine recommends that people who are active for more than one hour get 500–700mg of sodium for every litre of water they consume. Now, if you're participating in intense exercises lasting more than 60 to 90 minutes, you should consume carbohydrates to ensure energy levels for working muscles. But how you do that is up to you.
