Comfortable enough belt. The structual part of the actual belt is a single piece that goes all the way around the belt. I expect the actual belt part of this product to be plenty durable.
The metal hardware is surprisingly heavy duty, and the chain and belt are a good size for most people.

All good so far. Easy to loop chain under a DB off the rack, used our biggest 40kg. Plates work well.
